IMAC and lifecycle
Install, move, add, change, remove and replace workplace, network and communications equipment.
fieldservice.ch by connectionpoint
We handle installations, moves, changes, rollouts, break/fix, refurbishments and decommissioning for retail, offices and distributed locations. On-site technicians work with central network, server and telephony specialists when a task reaches beyond the device.
We take care of the practical work and the coordination around it. An assignment may be one hardware replacement or a programme across many sites with preparation, logistics, documentation and technical follow-up.
Install, move, add, change, remove and replace workplace, network and communications equipment.
Repeatable installation and testing for new stores, offices, serviced apartments and other distributed sites.
Removal, protection or relocation of equipment during construction, followed by reinstallation and functional testing.
Fault isolation and hardware replacement on site, with access to network or systems specialists where needed.
Removal, recording, return logistics, reuse and agreed disposal when a site closes.
Site information, cabling, equipment, photographs where agreed, exceptions and actions for the next visit.
Site work must fit around construction, opening dates, staff, landlords and equipment from several suppliers. We plan those dependencies rather than leaving the local team to coordinate them.
Routers, switches, access points, cabling checks and activation with the responsible remote teams.
Workstations, peripherals, printers, scanners and coordination around payment terminals and vendor procedures.
Phones, SIP-connected equipment and local checks during moves, replacements and openings.
Endpoints, accessories, local server equipment and devices used by staff away from the shop floor.
For multi-site programmes, consistency matters. We define the task, prepare it, complete the visit, record the result and route exceptions to the right technical owner.
Sites, tasks, equipment, access, dependencies and acceptance criteria.
Runbook, schedule, asset list, labels, logistics and supplier contacts.
Installation, replacement, move, survey, removal or local investigation.
Functional checks, evidence where agreed and immediate handling of exceptions.
Completion status, documentation, asset disposition and follow-up actions.
Use fieldservice.ch for a defined rollout, scheduled IMAC work, site surveys, vendor-led procedures or recurring interventions. Ticketing, change control, customer communication and commercial roles are agreed before work starts.
On-site work is part of the technical services delivered by connectionpoint GmbH. Business Internet, network operations, hosting, Microsoft 365 and telephony can be included in the same customer engagement where required.
Contact
A location list, expected timeline and an example site or runbook are usually enough to begin. Geographic coverage, travel, logistics, response times and service levels are confirmed for the individual engagement.
